This series of images is special to me for the view of the Olive from different times of year that I encounter. From spring flowers… through the growing season… finally in the fall, the Olive to be harvested.
The flowers you see here are approximately 1/4″ across. The internal parts are wondrous mechanisms created by nature of interesting shapes and structure, with explicit purpose.
Luscious looking Olive fruit hides its bitter taste on the tree. Waiting for harvest to be made edible and enjoyed.
The backdrop is gorgeous Sonoma County, California.
